Invisible Architecture is an AI-powered pattern recognition tool operated by Empty Jay LLC. It identifies structural patterns in communications using a documented taxonomy of manipulation tactics. It is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. It is not legal advice. It does not diagnose abuse, and it does not determine whether any person is an abuser. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Account data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you subscribe to a paid tier, we collect payment information through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that entirely.
Communications you submit. When you paste or upload a communication for analysis, that text is sent to our AI analysis engine for processing. What happens to that text depends on your tier:
Free tier: Your submitted communication and the analysis are processed in real time and displayed in your browser. Nothing is saved to our servers. When you leave the page, it's gone. Not deleted — never saved.
Paid tiers (Standard, Max, Boost): Your submitted communications and conversation threads are stored in our database so you can return to them. A 30-day expiration clock starts from your last interaction with each conversation. On day 23, you'll receive an automated email warning. On day 30, the conversation and all associated data are permanently deleted. No archives. No backups. Gone.
Usage data. We track message counts and token costs per interaction for billing accuracy and cost management. This is operational data — it tells us how many messages were exchanged and what they cost us, not what was said in them.
Website analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to understand how visitors use our site. This includes page views, referral sources, device type, browser type, and general geographic region. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be tied to individual users.
Marketing communications. If you opt in during account creation, we may send you occasional emails about product updates, tips, and educational content related to manipulation detection. These emails are sent through Beehiiv. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect your account or access to the tool.
The communications you submit for analysis may contain sensitive information — about you, about the sender, or about third parties. This may include references to mental health, abuse, custody disputes, substance use, legal proceedings, or other deeply personal matters.
We treat all submitted content with the same level of protection regardless of what it contains. We do not categorize, flag, or separately process content based on sensitivity. Everything is encrypted, everything expires, and nothing is shared.
We use your data to operate the tool and nothing else. Specifically:
We send your submitted communications to our AI analysis engine to generate pattern analysis. We store paid tier conversations so you can return to them. We track usage to manage billing and monitor costs. We collect anonymized website analytics to understand how the site is used. We send you marketing emails if you opted in.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Your communications are never used by Invisible Architecture to train AI models.
Our analysis engine is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. Your text is sent to the API, analyzed, and the results are returned to you. For information on how Anthropic handles data processed through their API, refer to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Session cookies (Supabase). When you log in, a session cookie is set to keep you authenticated. It expires when your session ends or after a period of inactivity. This is the only cookie used by the service.
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service. Free tier users leave no stored footprint — analysis happens in real time and is never saved. The only record of a free tier account is an email address and account metadata. Paid tier conversations are stored for continuity but are permanently deleted 30 days after your last interaction. After deletion, the data cannot be recovered or produced for any purpose.
When you delete a conversation, it is deleted immediately and permanently. When you delete your account, all associated data — account information, conversation history, usage logs, payment records — is permanently erased. Nothing is retained, anonymized, or archived. It is deleted as though it never existed.
The tool operator (Empty Jay LLC) may review a random sample of stored conversations to verify the analysis engine is functioning accurately. These reviews are limited to comparing tool output against the documented taxonomy — confirming the engine correctly identifies patterns it should identify and does not identify patterns that aren't present. Reviews are limited in scope to only what is necessary for quality verification. Conversations are never reviewed for content, never shared with third parties, and never used for any purpose other than verifying output accuracy.
Third-party services that process your data:
Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your encrypted account data and (for paid tiers) conversation data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure on Amazon Web Services servers located in the United States.
Anthropic (Claude API) — AI analysis engine. Your submitted communications are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. For information on how Anthropic handles data, refer to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Stripe — payment processing. Handles all payment card data. We never see your full card number.
Google Cloud Vision API — optical character recognition. If you upload an image of a communication, Google's OCR service processes the image to extract text. The image is not stored by us after processing.
Railway — application hosting. Our backend application runs on Railway's infrastructure. Railway processes requests but does not store your conversation data.
Beehiiv — email marketing. If you opt in to marketing communications, your email address is shared with Beehiiv to deliver product updates and educational content. Beehiiv does not have access to your conversations, analysis data, or account details beyond your email address.
All data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing this service from outside the United States, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using the encryption provided by our infrastructure providers (Supabase on AWS). Database access is restricted to the tool operator through authenticated, encrypted connections. API keys and credentials are stored as environment variables, never in code. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase using industry-standard hashing.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users by email within 72 hours of discovering the breach. The notification will describe what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we are taking in response.
Every user has the same rights regardless of where you live. If you use the tool, you have these rights:
Export your data. You can download all stored data associated with your account at any time from your account settings. Exported data is delivered as a PDF watermarked "Informal Analysis" to indicate that the content is not a professional, clinical, or legal assessment.
Delete your account. You can schedule your account for permanent deletion from your account settings. There is a 24-hour grace period during which you can cancel. After 24 hours, all data is permanently erased.
Delete individual conversations. Paid tier users can delete individual conversations at any time from the conversation history page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Invisible Architecture is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that an account belongs to a minor, we will delete the account and all associated data immediately. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@emptyjay.net.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. We will never retroactively change how we handle data you've already submitted.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or how your data is handled, contact us at hello@emptyjay.net.
