Invisible Architecture is an AI-powered communication analysis tool operated by Empty Jay LLC. The tool analyzes communications for patterns that may align with a documented taxonomy of manipulation tactics. It is not therapy. It is not legal advice. It is not a determination of abuse. It is a pattern recognition tool that provides language for what you may already be feeling.
Account data. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you subscribe to a paid tier, we collect payment information through our payment provider, Paddle. We never see or store your full card number — Paddle handles that entirely as the merchant of record.
Communications you submit. When you paste or upload a communication for analysis, that text is sent to our AI analysis engine (Anthropic's Claude API) for processing. What happens to that text depends on your tier:
Free tier: Your submitted communication and the analysis are processed in real time and displayed in your browser. Nothing is saved to our servers. When you leave the page, it's gone. Not deleted — never saved.
Paid tiers (Standard, Pro): Your submitted communications and conversation threads are stored in our database so you can return to them. A 30-day expiration clock starts from your last interaction with each conversation. On day 23, you'll receive an automated email warning. On day 30, the conversation and all associated data are permanently deleted. No archives. No backups. Gone.
Usage data. We track message counts and token costs per interaction for billing accuracy and cost management. This is operational data — it tells us how many messages were exchanged and what they cost us, not what was said in them.
Conversations and backend data are reviewed for quality assurance and safety reasons only. Access to stored data is limited and occurs only for operational or safety purposes.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your communications to train AI models. We do not allow third-party access to your conversations.
Third-party services that process your data:
Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your encrypted account data and (for paid tiers) conversation data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
Anthropic (Claude API) — AI analysis engine. Your submitted communications are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's commercial API terms prohibit them from using your data to train models. We use their commercial API specifically for this reason.
Paddle — payment processing and merchant of record. Handles all payment card data, billing, tax compliance, and refund processing. We never see your full card number. Paddle's terms apply to all transactions.
Google Cloud Vision API — optical character recognition. If you upload an image of a communication, Google's OCR service processes the image to extract text. The image is not stored by us after processing.
We want you to understand what exists on our servers, because you may be in situations where that matters.
If you are on the free tier, there is nothing to produce. No conversations are stored. The only record of your existence is an email address and account metadata.
If you are on a paid tier, conversation data exists for a maximum of 30 days from your last interaction with it. After 30 days, it is permanently deleted. If a legal request arrived for a conversation older than 30 days, there would be nothing to hand over.
Our retention policy is designed to minimize stored data.
Export your data. You can download all stored data associated with your account at any time from your account settings.
Delete your account. You can schedule your account for permanent deletion from your account settings. There is a 24-hour grace period during which you can cancel. After 24 hours, all data — account information, conversation history, payment records — is permanently erased.
Delete individual conversations. Paid tier users can delete individual conversations at any time from the conversation history page.
Invisible Architecture is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@emptyjay.net and we will delete it.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. We will never retroactively change how we handle data you've already submitted.
By creating an account on Invisible Architecture, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account. You may close your account at any time.

This tool is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. It is not legal advice and should not be used as evidence in legal proceedings without consultation with an attorney. No duty of care, fiduciary obligation, or professional responsibility arises from your use of this service. Nothing provided through this tool constitutes professional advice of any kind. If you need therapeutic, legal, or medical support, please consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
All analyses are generated by an artificial intelligence engine. AI can be wrong. AI can miss things. AI can occasionally overidentify patterns. The analysis is a starting point for your own judgment — not a replacement for it. Your gut brought you here. The tool gives you language. What you do with that language is your decision.
As conversations progress beyond initial analysis, AI responses may drift beyond the Invisible Architecture taxonomy into general conversational territory. A disclaimer will appear on all analyses to remind you of this.
You own everything you submit. We claim no rights to your communications. We do not use your submissions to train AI models, build datasets, or create derivative works. Your data is yours.
By submitting a communication for analysis, you represent that you have the right to share it — meaning it's a communication you received, authored, or have permission to share. We are not responsible for the content of communications you submit.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We offer two-factor authentication and strongly recommend enabling it, particularly if you are in a situation where someone else may attempt to access your account. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials.
Paid subscriptions are billed weekly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing week, then reverts to the free tier. We do not prorate partial weeks.
Pricing is subject to change. If we change pricing, we will notify existing subscribers by email before their next billing cycle. Price changes never apply retroactively to a current billing period.
Do not use Invisible Architecture to harass, stalk, or harm another person. Do not use the tool to generate content intended to manipulate others. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the analysis engine or taxonomy. Do not create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits. Do not submit content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Invisible Architecture and Empty Jay LLC are not liable for decisions you make based on the tool's analysis. The tool provides information. You decide what to do with it. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, relationship outcomes, legal proceedings, or financial losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Empty Jay LLC, its operators, and its affiliates for any and all claims arising out of or related to your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Empty Jay LLC in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Empty Jay LLC, its operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your misuse of the tool's analysis, including but not limited to using analysis output to harass, confront, or harm the sender of a communication you submitted; (c) your submission of analysis output as evidence in legal proceedings without consultation with an attorney; (d) your violation of these terms; or (e) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
These terms are between you and Empty Jay LLC. No third party has any rights under these terms. The tool's analysis of a communication creates no rights, claims, or causes of action for the sender of that communication or any other person who is not a party to these terms. No person identified, referenced, or discussed in a submitted communication or resulting analysis is a beneficiary of these terms or has standing to bring a claim against Empty Jay LLC based on that analysis.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Jurisdiction. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kansas City, Missouri. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Small claims exception. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in Jackson County, Missouri, if the claim qualifies under that court's jurisdictional limits.
No class actions. You and Empty Jay LLC agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. Neither party may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any class action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, close your account.
Weekly billing provides flexibility so users can subscribe for short periods without long-term commitment.
If you are unsatisfied with Invisible Architecture, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at hello@emptyjay.net or through our payment provider at paddle.net. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a technical malfunction that prevented access to the service, please contact hello@emptyjay.net. We will review and issue a refund in cases of verified billing error or service failure.
If a refund is issued, your subscription reverts to the free tier immediately. Existing conversation data remains accessible until its 30-day expiration but no new paid-tier messages may be sent.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing week. You retain access to paid features until that point. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier and existing conversations remain accessible until their 30-day expiration.
Invisible Architecture is in active development. Accessibility is on our roadmap and we are working toward meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We're not there yet.
